Typically how long does it take to get payment from Service Canada after appeal allowed by SST? Thanks
I believe about 4 weeks. Congrats on winning your appeal…must have been a long road to travel down.
If you get approved before the SST it is normally about 4 weeks; however, if you claim is approved at an SST hearing, it can take from 3-6 months. The other side has 90 days to appeal the SST hearing decision, so if they don’t indicate an intention not to appeal, then the SST has to wait for the 90 days to expire before sending the case back to Service Canada for approval and processing of your payment.

Thank you, yes it was a tough road, but seems like I haven’t reached the
end yet. Guess, I have to wait another 90 days to accept the ‘congrats’
because they can still appeal to SST.
