Hi was wondering I have a friend that is on disability benifits in BC and would like to move to MB. Is it hard to transfer them over?
If she is talking about CPP Disability or disability insurance payments, then the benefits travel with her and there are no issues. If she is taking about provincial disability benefits, then then there is not transfer and you need to do an entirely new application in the new province. The types and amounts of provincial disability benefits vary greatly between provinces. You would need to investigate the benefits available at the new province and the eligibility criteria.
