I just wanted to post that SC seems a little behind the 120 day mark in Ontario due to volume of applications.
My husband is at the 134 day mark and so we called…the person at SC stated that they are taking more like 170 days.
Heres hoping 
I applied May 2018 and finally approved in February 2019. Way more than 170 days but I guess it depends on case, volume, which city your forms go to, etc. is my understanding. Good luck.

Yes, these delays are usually a workflow and staffing issue (from my experience) and likely doesn’t reflect on the strength of your case. Hang in there!

Thank you David…this is what we kind of expected. I just posted more for information purposes than anything as I know that if we read it we would feel more relaxed about it. The person did give us a date that we should hear back before April 28 (which is a sunday) and that will mark his application at 181 days. this forum has been a weath of good information and we are so glad that we found it

Update…
Well we heard from SC yesterday and my husband was told that he was approved… the adjudicator even told him how far back they were dating the application.
