It is reasonable for you to request a copy of your claim file, to have the policy explained to you and to see the Master policy.
It is ok to let your Insurer know that there delay is not helpful or causing you added stress. But stay humble always.
If they refuse you something then send an email or fax asking them to please explain or reference the policy wording.
Do not become argumentative or level accusations against anyone. Document any unfair treatment but always stay polite. If you send correspondence -keep it brief and on point.
Never ever let your ego out—you want your lawyer to argue and the court to sympathize with you if it goes really off course.
