CPP-D payment dates on Service Canada

I seem to have noticed CPP-D payment dates are scheduled at the end of the month (Something like the last 3 business days of the month), but I do note in the first week or whatever in the Service Canada portal the government processes it, and then it shows as paid for the end of the month

I don’t see anything for May yet. Anyway, my question is - does anyone know how this arbitrary beginning of the month date thing works? Is it random? 1st week of every month? First Friday of every month?

Yeah it’s basically the third to last business day, except December is paid early. The payment dates are published here https://www.canada.ca/en/services/benefits/calendar.html

Sorry that’s not quite my question

I’m more referring to when service Canada processes the date because it’s always very very early in the months and I’m just trying to figure out exactly when they do it!

I’m not sure what you mean by ‘process’? Or why it would be relevant? Are you asking for the cut-off date for a cheque run, effectively, which would only affect you for the first CPPD payment date?

It’s more for a peace of mind thing. When I see it processed on the 5th of the month that it’ll be paid out on the 27th or whatever I just feel a little better I guess

You would get a letter from Service Canada if they were planning to discontinue it. I got one saying that they would not pay me next month due to some payments from my employer but I showed them it was payment for work before my disability and the payment continued.
