Transition from CPP-D to regular CPP at age 65

Hi. I am receiving CPP-D and will be turning 65 next year. The Service Canada website seems to say that my first CPP and OAS benefit will be paid in the month after I turn 65, but doesn’t CPP-D stop the month before I turn 65? Should I expect no benefits at all in the month I turn 65?

I have personal experience with this situation. You will receive CPPD for the month you turn 65. The month following your 65th birthday, you will receive regular CPP.

For example, if you turn 65 on March 1st, you will receive your final CPPD payment at the end of March. You will receive your first Regular CPP payment at the end of April.

Thank you! That makes more sense.
