Recently I had gone through the steps to receive a PWD application. I first was receiving hardship, and now receiving provincial DA, approved less than a month after submitting the PWD application.
Hardship is to be paid back when approved for CPPD, still waiting for a decision to be overturned.
With the understanding that DA payments will be adjusted when receiving CPPD, as DA is more than the estimated CPPD benefits.
The confusion is will I have to pay back disability assistance along with the hardship received?
I’m confused because I’ve been reading disability assistance payments must be paid back at the same time I’ve been reading disability payments don’t have to be paid back.
I’m not extremely worried about it but I’m persistent to get a better understanding of what exactly must be paid back.
