Denied cppd benefits

My husband has just been denied cppd benefits despite extensive medical problems that just get worse. He is getting very depressed over it and we don’t know what else to do. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the forum!

My application was filled out by a specialist and CPP-D accepted it.

I honestly think everyone gets denied the first time. Send in a reconsideration letter. Good luck!

Hi, I am writing a reconsideration and wonder if you could share the contact of the person who helped you to fill the ccpd application.
thank you

I am not sure if the original poster is still around. However sign up to get the book in David’s post above yours, it’s really excellent help in how to tell your story. Most of us focus on the wrong thing at first (what’s wrong medically) instead of what matters for disability insurance (how our ability to work is affected).

Good luck.

Sorry I missed your post. My sister filled out the CPP-D forms for me.
