I was on EI sickness benefits they ended then I applied for income assistance and my doctor got me on 2 year disability benefits at the same time I applied in April 2019 for cppd and as of now my file was complete on 30of April I am waiting for decision in mail.
I am wondering does cppd use diagnosis from provincial medical file?

We don’t have that in Ontario if it is what I think it is.
Health care is a provincial jurisdiction anyways so probably not unless you released it to them.
I think what OP was asking if CPP-D gets information from her provincial healthcare files. As far as I know your doctor has to fill out a form and send it to CPP-D or starting last year you can ask your LTD provider to release your info to CPP-D. I hope this helps.
Provincial income assistance, after 1 yr exact April 30 2020 my application for cpp is now complete and still don’t know what is happening .
