CPP Denial question

I applied to CPP disability in November. Before I applied I made sure I had enough contributions. I also called CPP disability and asked a couple of times. I checked to see if there was an update. It says its still in progress. Then I went to check my contribution page. It says at the top that I am eligible but when I scroll down to the disability benefit part it says I’m not. I was confused. I attached the one picture explaining it

Thank you

Mine says the same. The estimated amounts for disability were there but the message changed overnight.
I called Service Canada right away. The agent told me not to worry about what that says. He said the MA just received the information she requested on Dec. 30 and a decision has not been made.
From what I understand if the application is with the Medical Adjudicator they wouldn’t be reviewing the case if a person didn’t have enough credits. In my case I’m in reconsideration stage.
What I found out though is that a person must have earned at least 10% of the maximum pensionable earnings for those years and meet the MQP. I believe it’s because CPPD is more than regular CPP. Correct me if I’m wrong but that what I understand in short.

Hope I didn’t confuse you or give you false information.

Thank you. Am i stressing for no reason?
My accountant is going to go through everything to make sure nothing is wrong on their end. It’s stressful when it just changes like that.

Jen

I called this morning and they said the same thing to me as what you said… idk why they put it up there to stress people outm

I’m struggling to understand the CPP-D process, especially with the MQP and changing laws. From what I gather from the message:
1. The decision hasn’t been made yet, which is confirmed by the Service Canada agents
2. The MQP has not been determined

Laws changed in 2019 and 2025, but the laws in place during the contribution years will be used for the MQP, even if laws changed mid-year. Can anyone confirm if that’s correct?

My interpretation of this could be completely wrong on number 2.
