I am currently on long-term disability (LTD) from both of my jobs due to cancer treatment. I’m planning to return to work part-time, starting with my morning job, and see how it goes. I know I won’t be able to do my afternoon job yet because I don’t have enough physical strength and continue to experience constant fatigue. I’m wondering if the LTD benefits from my second (afternoon) job will continue while I work only in the morning job.
I think the return-to-work can be with a different employer so as long as it’s preapproved by the insurance company it should be ok.
Are the benefits based on only the afternoon job’s salary?
I think the morning job pay would be deducted from the LTD but I really don’t know.
I never did a rtw.
