How much information is my Employer entitled to once the employment contract is frustrated and the employee terminated? In my case, the insurance company still copies my employer on the letters to me and has even divulged personal medical information. Is this allowed indefinitely?
I don’t think the employer was entitled to any medical information, just whether the claim is still in effect.
When you’re terminated, there is no reason for the former employer to receive any information.
