Need legal advice on lost wages 9 to 14 years because I retired early and didn't know I had PTSD just couldnt handle it all

I am a retired RCMP and left the organization after 21 yrs of service because I couldn’t function. I am undergoing treatment for PTSD now and involved in the Class Action lawsuit for Harrassment but my PTSD is not only harassment related but other work related events as well. I left and just blocked all communication with everyone for 9 years. I feel that had I received assistance and diagnosis I could still be working.

You could speak with an employment lawyer, but I expect you will face problems because most claims have a 2 year limitation of actions. The law is very unforgiving even if you have good reasons for blocking it out of your life. For example, if you didn’t apply for LTD benefits at the time, then there is no way you could apply now given the time that has passed.
