I have been on LTD for nearly 2 years now from a civilian job. I only recently was advised that I qualify for Veterans Affairs benefits through my time in the military 25 years ago.
I was approved for income replacement benefits and was wondering: Will I be terminated by the disability insurer after they deduct my VAC IRB payment? In effect I will be maxing out the allowable offsets to the point where I will be getting $0 from the disability insurer.
