I’m living in Yukon, I’m on long-term loss of earnings benefits.
I have a VERY part time job (seasonal, I work one day every few months and for a week or two a few times a year).
I want to move to BC.
Yukon WCB seems to have very scant policies compared to other jurisdictions, so I’m struggling to understand my obligations and any complications surrounding my move.
Policy says I can lose benefits if I quit my job. I can’t find anything about leaving the territory.
Can I leave the territory and keep my Yukon WCB benefits? Would they ‘switch’ to BC WCB benefits/policy/etc.?
And if I move I have to obviously ‘quit’ my job… Will I seriously lose my benefits if I leave my job in order to move?
