Does anyone know what would happen if someone was on LTD but her position as well as the whole department was laid off due to COVID-19?
LTD is a contract between the person and the insurance company.
So nothing changes by being laid off.
Maybe you lose extended health coverage, I don’t know.

Like Jammer says, won’t affect existing LTD claim but can result in your medical and dental coverage being suspended.
