Sun Life sent me for a psych IME and it wasn’t what I expected. The assessment only lasted about an hour, and a lot of my symptoms didn’t seem to be explored in depth. Some of the questions felt odd or not directly related, and I left feeling like it wasn’t a full picture of my condition.
Has anyone else had a similar experience with a short or limited psych IME? What happened afterward, did it affect your claim? And is there anything I should be doing now to protect myself?
