I recently appealed a denied CPP-D claim I made. I just got a phone call today saying I am being denied because of my CPP contributions. They agree I am disabled, but I haven’t made significant contributions. I only worked part time ever because my husband was the full time worker. Anything I can do?
Here’s some information on CPP contributions if you haven’t seen it.
You may want to get a Service Canada account so you can see how much you have contributed to the CPP.
Welcome to the forums.
I don’t think so.
If your husband still works, apply for the DTC (disability tax credit).
If you’re under 49, open an RDSP once you get the DTC.
