Certified copies

I’m reading David’s CPP disability application workbook and it mentions on p24 that it’s necessary to get certified copies of my complete medical files.

I have electronic copies of a large portion of my medical file that I obtained a few years ago when my disability started. The medical file I requested at the time is split into 2 protected PDF files which my family doctor’s clinic put onto a USB for me. It’s a few hundred pages in total, but it doesn’t have a stamp on it showing it’s certified. It does however have “ps suite emr” at the bottom of each page which is the system the clinic uses.

Is it ok for me to print these pages all out and submit them to Service Canada, even though they are not certified?

I will also request the remaining portion of my medical file from my family doctor’s clinic, print that out and submit that as well.

I prefer to be able to use what I already have, rather than requesting the whole file over again, because the more pages I have to request, the higher the fee I have to pay.

Thanks in advance
