But if you only make 5,500.00 per year how can you qualify for the 2000.00 CERB payment a month on a continuous basis? I applied for 3 CERB payments but stopped there, fear I would lose my CPP disability. The part-time work I was doing before CERB has decreased substantially because of COVID. I don’t know if it’s okay for me to apply for the remainder CERB payments. Does that make sense?
Apparently CERB doesn’t count towards what you’re allowed making on CPP. Not sure about CRB though?
I think the CRB would be trickier as you must be looking for work.
If you made 5000 in 2019 or 2020 and lost part time employment, you can apply for all 7 of the CERB. The CERB does not count as income that affects CPP-D disability benefits. It is even on the government website-Q&A. You must have stopped working due to COVID.
