Hi David, great to see that your book is doing so well right out of the gate! I just finished reading it and it does provide me with valuable information on how to proceed with the “Reconsideration” phase of my CPPD Benefits application. Hopefully, I will be approved at the reconsideration phase. If not I will definitely be calling your office to see if you can assist me with the General Division Tribunal Hearing on a “no-win, no-fee agreement.” I will most likely need your expertise to “tell my CPPD story.”

When you publish your workbooks will you be including examples of letters, story telling, etc. I think that this will greatly assist CPPD applicants in submitting a great first application and if need be a request for reconsideration.

Thanks again for all the advice on how to make your first CPPD application the best one possible.

I will let you know how my reconsideration request turns out. If I am denied, then expect a phone call from me to see if my file would qualify for your legal services.

Hi David,

Thank you for publishing this amazing book. I bought it on Amazon. It is great.

I was looking about volunteering in the book but could’t find.

What do you think about CPPD or LTD and volunteering?

Thank you for your response!

Volunteering is tricky. There is no issue with volunteering, unless doing so creates evidence that a person does have the capacity to do gainful employment. 99% of the time there is no issue because most people are doing a little bit of volunteer work that would not equate to the physical and mental capacity for gainful employment – however, there is the 1% (these are not exact percentages) where a person is volunteering for what is essentially gainful employment.

Thank you for your response, David. It’s very tricky indeed. I read posts on this forum. Some people had their LTD terminated volunteering just once a week. They were told they can do gainful employment.
