You must have a minimum level of earnings to make contributions to the CPP. Currently it is about 5600 in earnings-it increases every year. So one week would be below. Go to Service Canada and sign into your account. If you are below it will show a B beside the year.
Some people make $5600/week, I don’t know any but I’m sure they exist.
