I am on CPPD, and being 47 years old I decided to relocate to Europe.
My moving abroad date is still far away, (at least a year) and I am looking at all the implications.
Obviously I understand the need to make sure that Service Canada has my most up to date address and phone number.
In particular I am concerned about the possibility of a re-assessment while living abroad. I need to know whether I would be able to respond effectively to such a demand!
How would my physician know how to fill out English based forms, as provided by CPP Canada?
Would I need to have my physician give his statement in his native language and then pay a translation service/ notary so as to translate my doctor’s note into English?
Has anyone been re-assessed while living abroad?
Regards, Alecs
