Gwl have giving me 30 days to pay back retro thought they would want it all including child tax so I was surprised to find out they count child tax
Check your policy–I know GWL told us 15 days–but the master policy said 6 months. For the child portion some GWL policies do allow a portion to be sent to them, typically under the all source provision.
I would ask GWL to provide you the provisions in the policy that sets out the time frame for paying back over payments and the provision for them claiming the backpay for your children’s portion. Send by proof of recipt-email or fax.
You could also ask for how they have calculated their numbers for what they are claiming is owed.
