This has since been clarified and you can’t qualify for CERB if your EI Sickness runs out. If your eligibility for EI Sickness happened after March 15, people have the option to just get the CERB because it can get processed more quickly, But, if your EI Sickness runs out after March 15 you don’t qualify for CERB. Only if you were on EI regular or fishing benefits.
