Case Manager on my back. Opinions please

My GP referred me to specialists as per

My request. As soon as the specialists heard I was abused by women they blamed me. They basically called me a liar.

Go to a different specialist.

I have to be referred and I am exhausted and stressed out. I will keep trying.

Thank you for your support. You are an awesome person.

I really wish there was a way to separate the red tape from the patient.
It is really hard but that’s the way it is unfortunately.

Thanks.
I am really empathetic.

It gets worse. Doctors from Europe are allowed to practice but my insurance does not recognize them. My Case Worker told me thy must have FRCPC. The whole system is a joke.

I don’t think they can legally give medical advice without being licensed in Canada.
You know European doctors who can prescribe medicine that is filled by a pharmacy?
I wouldn’t have thought that was possible.

Yes they can. One of previous doctors explained it to me. My province allows them to practice.

I received another from LTD demanding that I see GP2 within five days. They want feedback.

Why do they prefer GP2?
Does he have the FRCPC but GP1 doesn’t?

I could never get an appointment with anyone in 5 days.

Both GP 1 and GP 2 have FRCPC. The whole thing is very confusing.
It is very stressful for me. I will keep all of you informed.

I am being sent for a very long test. That’s all I can say on this forum.

I hope I am not writing too much information here. They are sending me for a two day assessment. I am not happy about this since I have done more than what’s required.

I don’t think you’ve written too much.
Try to relax and do what they ask even if you think you have done more than enough.
If you really think they are being unreasonable you could talk to a lawyer.
I suspect the bar is pretty high for what they can do though.

Thanks jammer. You are awesome. I am trying not to think about it.

Good luck. Try your best but don’t harm yourself. Ask for breaks as you need them. Make notes after. See a
Dr before and after the testing so that you can discuss how it affected you.

Thank you searching.

Hopefully you have someone that can go with you to the appointments. Just to make sure you are getting breaks and to support you.

If it gets too much and you feel you might harm yourself --ask the assessor to call an ambulance. Better to be in the psych ward safe if you don’t feel in control.

Might get you to a specialist faster.

Thank you ‘allyoops’

They are sending me for a physical assessment when I have mental health issues.

On a different note my primary doctor is so lazy he took seven months to respond to their requests. Insurance contacted him several times and I faxed him letters and spoke to him yet he did not care. I showed him my insurance letters in which they threatened to stop payments yet he refused to respond to them. He caused me more stress. Finally, he told me he sent them my entire file including his notes. Why send my whole file? Just send what they ask for.

He also failed to see my blood pressure was so high it was causing me severe headaches. I went to a different doc and immediately he solved that issue.

Back when I had to go for the IME I had asked my CM in writing for a copy of the doctor’s report. So far nothing. I had to go out of town so I asked for gas money. Nothing so far. I am fed up with this system and the people who are incharge.

My original post should have stated New CM is on my back. She took over my file about year ago. Since then it’s been constant phone calls etc.

It was probably easier for him to send it all and let them sift through it.
More laziness.

My GP showed me the ins letter and it specifically asked for all notes. Invasive!
