I have a feeling I may need some help in the near future. Sadly though, Resolute Legal does not do business in my province. I’ve been wondering if David or other fellow posters could recommend a lawyer that practices in my province, Quebec. Thanks.
Phone Resolute and ask them to refer you to a lawyer in Quebec.
Jammer, we gave up trying to find a lawyers in Quebec to refer people to. I reached out to several lawyers and law firms and received no response. We will only refer to lawyers who we can verify have a high level of expertise in disability claims and share our values. So far we have no been able to connect with any such lawyers in Quebec, but I am sure they exist. If anyone knows of such a lawyer, please let me know so we can reach out to them.
Quebec is also the only province not to sign on to the national agreement that allows lawyers to practice temporarily in other provinces. This is what prevents us from offering consultations to Quebecers until we have a lawyer on staff who is licensed in Quebec.
