I currently have an active human rights complaint ( accepted and handling it on my own) yesterday I went on to check my something thru their online Portal and I discovered that my employer had backdated multiple leave entries and assigned incorrect leave types. The system logs show full names, timestamps, and dates — many of which were entered two to three months after the leave was actually taken. These alterations began immediately after I informed my employer that I was filing a human rights case. One of the delayed entries affected my statutory holiday pay, resulted in underpayment, and caused unauthorized deductions over the course of several months and employer refuses to fix the issue. Another entry prevented me from returning to work and triggered IT access issues. Because my first leave after this occurred was taken while I was on Employment Insurance, I notified EI and provided them with the same screenshots. EI advised me to report the matter through the CRA tip hotline, which I did. I have included all of this in my evidence package. To ensure authenticity, the screenshots I submitted clearly display my name and the employer’s branded banner in their colours, demonstrating that the records were genuine and not AI‑generated.
Is this considered falsified records, this isn’t the first time either they did this to another employee too and fabricated lies to fire her.
