# Position with my employer received a wage increase

I am on LTD and will not be able to my position due to the limitations I now have. I am wondering if my position with my employer receives a wage increase does my LTD increase?

Mine does not increase. More knowledgeable posters will come along soon.

Mine is based on my wage at the time of approval.  
I’m not unionized.  
I would check your benefit booklet or ask your union rep (whatever applies to you).

Thanks for the response. I received a copy of my policy today and no to the increase. This is what my policy stated. All-source maximum – amount paid will not exceed  
85% of pre-disability net earnings.

It’s good to keep a copy of the policy. 🙂  
85% is pretty good, I think most people get around 70%.  
I think mine is 66%.
