Hi I have been on LTD since mid 20-5. I am still listed as an employee however I will not be able to go back to work in any capacity (Dr’s words). When might they do this? What do I need to do in advance or be prepared to do in the event of a medical termination? There is no one at my work place who can tell me as the HR dept is new or I get “not my job”. Very frustrating. Help
I would say don’t kick the hornets nest. They may well keep you on until retirement age. I know one guy at my workplace had been off on disability for twenty years. I myself am taking the out of sight out of mind approach.
