# Marriage and disability Ontario

I am new to this forum and not sure if this question has been asked  
I am on LTD through Canada Life (from previous employer) and CPP Disability as I have Multiple Sclerosis which flared up very bad due to stress at work.  
I have recently got married (in August) and wonder if I will lose either of these benefits. I could not find anything helpful online

No, marriage won’t change either of those. It’s only the public means-tested welfare style programs that are affected by marriage or household income. The two you have are individual LTD insurance.
