# Final Appeal denied!

I have been off work for a year. I have exhausted all my avenues and need to know if I can still sue for my coverage even though through this I have worked hard with medical team to feel better but, yet not 100%

You will need a legal consultation on this. It depends on a bunch of factors. The right to sue is limited by time and also by the type of LTD plan you are dealing with.

The time issue is my fear! They have run me around and stalled so much!  
I have consultation on Feb 1. Would love to talk sooner than later!

1. Are you Unionized and is the policy/insurance grievance procedures part of the contract.
2. When was the date of your first denial letter and which province are you in.

I am not a lawyer but can post some tips on how to find your Statute of Limitations and relevant Insurance Act.
