I think you have to be receiving CPP from July 1st 2020 onwards if so yes you qualify. You can call Service Canada to double check though. We will automatically issue this payment if: - you have an existing valid [Disability Tax Credit (DTC) Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) - you are eligible and applied for the DTC by **December 31, 2020** - you are a beneficiary as at July 1, 2020 of: - Canada Pension Plan Disability (CPPD) ---

I called and I just got approved too so I’m getting paid the $600 in January. ---

How do you get it? I’ve been on CPPD since 2014 and was never told how to get it. Also, CPPD can not be touched, you will get taxed on any income over and above but they won’t cut you off, you are disabled. ---

I think you may need to qualify for the DTC (Disability Tax Credit). I would call the CRA. ---

Hello, I was approved Jan 18/2021 and is back dated to June 2018. I was told I qualify but missed the cut off date for the March 23, 2021 payment. I haven’t been able to find out about another date yet. Does anyone here know if another date has been set? I also applied for the DTC on April 12, 2021, no news yet thou. Thank you!
